The PRO system is for faculty use to manage professional information on teaching, research, and service; to generate curriculum vitae, to prepare annual reports, to prepare promotion and tenure candidate CV documents and other university forms or applications; to maintain faculty web pages; and to expand collaboration.
Faculty members access PRO through the KU portal "myKU" and the menu tab "Academics" where the link to “Faculty PRO” is located.
As of December 2014, all academic and research units have faculty CVs completely keyed and loaded to the PRO system. All academic and research faculty have been trained in the use of PRO. As of Spring 2015, academic units are using PRO to prepare annual reports, and it is expected that faculty will have completely reviewed their information and updated their activities.
New faculty hired each year will have their Curriculum Vitas loaded to PRO by the PRO Data Entry Team.
